About Michael
Michael Murray currently lives and works in Toronto. Michael has seen fire and he’s seen rain. He’s seen sunny days that he thought would never end, and he’s seen lonely times when he could not find a friend. He works as a creative writer, copywriter, blogger and “journalist” and as he is modest, he feels awkward talking about his genius, which he recently found out does not translate into IQ tests. At any rate, he can write about practically anything, having done so for Hazlitt, the Globe and Mail, the National Post, CBC Radio, the Ottawa Citizen and Reader’s Digest, amongst many other prestigious publications that pay extraordinary amounts of money. He won the New Yorker cartoon caption contest and maintains a Blog like an all-star. Michael is available for freelance writing of all kinds, dubious or otherwise, and pleads with you to buy his book A Van Full of Girls with Insomniac Press as he has absolutely no way to make a living.

Happy happy new year,
We were sitting around and your name came up, quite fondly. We hope that you are well and loving your life in Toronto.

So…what ever happened with Sunshine, Thumper, and Swamp Doggy?
Very much enjoyed your article in Ottawa Citizen today. Hats off to a bulls eye. I am intrigued by the question you posed concerning your own experimentations with meditation yoga and so on; “What am I?” After reading your “about Michael Murray”, could it be you are of Northern Irish Origins, as my family happen to be. (County Down)
Thank you kindly, Kevin. I come from a long line of Scottish sheep thieves, although it wouldn’t surprise me in the least if I had some connection to North Ireland.
