We did not make it to Lafayette, but it felt like we hit just about every other place in Detroit. It embarrasses me to confess this to you, but neither Rachelle nor I actually had a Coney Island dog. It was our first meal of the day and I went for a Turkey Melt, Rachelle some sort of Grand Slam concoction, and I must say, they were first rate. We also hit Greektown, which seems little more than a city block at this point, and dined at Pegasus, a high volume, high intensity family-style place that caters to pre and post-game crowds from Comerica Park. The cover of the menu had a naked woman on a winged-horse, just like an air-brushed van from the 80s, and the food? The food was ungood.
