After the kite surfers at Silver Points had finished for the day, they\u2019d lay their kites out on the beach to dry. Here, they\u2019d billow in the wind, like a nation of colourfully undulating jellyfish that had just decided to take up residence on the shore. It was kind of beautiful, even mesmerizing to watch, with each kite breathing as if a living organism, their patterns stretching out and consuming the beach like an appetite. Amongst the beautiful, athletic surfers and their kites was a beach dog named Wes. When nobody was paying attention he\u2019d pee on each kite, so later, when the kites once again took to the air, Wes would be carried up with them, his scent lifted out and over the sea and then dispersing into a world he could not enter in his mortal form.<\/p>\n
