As many of you know, Toronto Mayor Rob Ford and I are almost always on the same page. We were enrolled at Carleton University at the same time and became last call drinking buddies, and since then have stayed in contact, mostly messaging one another late at night when partying alone.<\/p>\n

At any rate, Rob officially registered to run for re-election on January 2, being the first and so far only candidate to do so. It was at this time that Rob unveiled the official campaign slogan for the October 27^{th<\/sup> election: Ford more years!<\/p>\n}

This is where the mayor and I run into a disagreement. I think it\u2019s a bad campaign slogan and that he should have gone with one of the suggestions I made to him during one of our late night brainstorming sessions:<\/p>\n
