Fri, 24 Nov 2017 03:57:35 +0000http://michaelmurray.ca/?p=6652#comment-114665So I have this idea — watching as I do in the pool, parents teaching their children, instructors with their many clever tricks, “When I say your favorite ice-cream flavour, you jump in the water!” (it gets them in every time) and men teaching their new lovers, guys you sense always wanted to learn but never felt comfortable saying they didn’t know how before, high school kids on that date that means this is a thing — that there is no more beautiful or hopeful thing than watching one person teach another person to swim.
What a great piece, Mr Murray.
