Today I have given over the Blog to Heidi, our Miniature Dachshund.
Heidi really been on edge lately.
Not know why.
The other day Heidi have situation in back yard. Heidi chewing on a bone and then suddenly see cat on roof of shed! Evil cat eyes look down at Heidi, try to act like Heidi friend, but cat no friend!! Just want Heidi bone! Heidi just lose her mind and run screaming and barking at cat!! Kept trying to jump up shack to tear stupid cat to blood pieces! Heidi so excited and mad forgot all about bone! And then when scared cat finally flee to scared place, Heidi turn to go back to bone and bone gone!
Heidi crestfallen.
Maybe sneaky raccoon take bone. Maybe hobo. Don’t know.
But got Heidi to thinking.
Heidi have good life.
Heidi gorgeous, smart and strong dog. Alpha of the pack. Never hungry, always do exactly what Heidi want. Why Heidi so hung-up on bone?
Many dogs not so lucky. Maybe Heidi come to age (almost 6!) when need to give back to community. Maybe help Heidi with anger issues.
Heidi join organization where successful, beautiful dog write to incarcerated dog. Great dog act as mentor and offer advice to prisoner dog. Heidi first assignment a 3 year-old named Nine-Iron.

Heidi very rich and pretty so you lucky dog! Maybe if things go well, Heidi tweet you a pic! But for now must ask, why you in jail, Nine-Iron? Why you bad dog? Heidi think you should follow path to the Lord. Jesus redeem bad dogs! In his father house there are many rooms for dogs! Don’t worry Nine-Iron, you will find home in father’s mansion! Will be bones and cat to kill for eternity! Never get called Bad Dog again! Get to play fetch with pretty dog and dig hole wherever you want. As they say in The Talamud, “Breed not a savage dog, nor permit a loose stairway.”
Heidi hate cats, squirrels, pigeons and mice.
Like meat.
