Rachelle just joined a Women’s League Ice Hockey Team called The Early Birds. She was offered a selection of about a half dozen numbers for her jersey and as I pretty much control every decision she makes, I offered my advice, which was to take number 7.

A walk through the Annex
On Madison I saw the same awkward older man who has been jogging down the street for years. He wore his long, beak-like cap and his body was awry, angled in a way that suggested something traumatic happened and prompted him to start running, an instinct now he’s never since ceased.

Picking up lunch at the Annex HodgePodge
Earlier in the day I went up to the Annex HodgePodge on Dupont to pick-up some lunch. The guy preparing my sandwich asked if I wanted black pepper on my salad and we fell into a conversation about the all the food items that people despised.

Walking down Bloor Street in Toronto
Walking down the street I passed a man with a double stroller containing two hysterically screaming toddlers. His face expressed exactly what you’d expect it to express. I tried to make my face as sympathetic as possible.
